This advanced cruise control system uses sonar to determine the distance between your car and the vehicle in front of you. It then automatically accelerates or brakes to ensure there is a safe amount of space between you and the other driver. The Distance Recognition Support System (DRSS) is also included, which tells you the exact distance.
This system monitors how far the vehicle behind you or in the lanes next to you is from your car. It makes switching lanes much easier and sends you a visual and audible warning when your turn signal is on and it detects a vehicle in the neighboring lane.
LDWS helps prevent you from drifting out of your lane by using your camera system to read lane markers. If your turn signal is off and you start drifting out of your lane, it will send you a warning.
Similar to the way the Rear Vehicle Monitoring System (RVMS) works, this system monitors the front of your vehicle and sends a visual and audible alert to brake immediately when it detects a decreasing amount of distance between your car and a vehicle or obstruction ahead.
AFS allows you to turn the headlights in a way that the light bends around the corner, helping to boost your visibility on dark Saint Joseph roads.
High beams also help increase your visibility while driving at night, but you don’t want to blind oncoming traffic in the process. HBC eliminates the need to worry about shutting off your high beams by using an advanced camera system; this feature automatically switches to low beams when it detects another vehicle is approaching.
Head-on collisions commonly occur when driving in the city at low speeds, but Smart City Brake Support helps to prevent this by automatically engaging the brakes.
If your Mazda has an automatic transmission, Acceleration Control for AT will send you a warning if there is an obstruction in front of your vehicle and you press the accelerator too hard.
You can count on every drive to be safer and more relaxing thanks to Mazda i-Activsense® technology. Contact us today to learn more, or check out our new vehicle inventory and set up a test drive in Saint Cloud!
