Other 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 Features
The 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 has a gasoline engine which could rival hybrid and diesel alternatives. The standard 2.0 litre SKYACTIVE-G engine boasts a class-leading, EPA estimated 35 highway mpg without compromising performance. The 2.5 litre version delivers added horsepower while still achieving incredible fuel efficiency.
This model has the added benefit of Mazda’s innovative i-ACTIV all-wheel drive system which can sense road conditions and predict possible changes in traction, allowing it to split the torque between the front and rear wheels to help prevent slippage.
The interior features a revised control interface for the infotainment system, allowing more flexibility, and all models now have touchscreens. The 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 comfortably seats five along with gear, and has more rear legroom, passenger volume and cargo volume than the Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tucson.
